Overview
Iceland’s south coast packs its greatest hits into one road. In two days you’ll walk behind Seljalandsfoss, stand in the spray of Skógafoss, watch the waves at Reynisfjara and reach Jökulsárlón, where icebergs break off the glacier and float out to the ocean.
Travelling in a small group with a local guide means you get the best light at each stop, and in winter a good chance of the northern lights over Vík.

Seljalandsfoss
A 60-metre waterfall with a path that loops behind it. Bring your waterproofs.

Skógafoss
Climb the 527 steps to the top, or stand at the bottom looking for rainbows in the spray.

Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon
Icebergs calve off Breiðamerkurjökull and drift across the lagoon. Seals often swim among them.
