Overview
Iceland’s south coast packs its greatest hits into one road. In two days you’ll walk behind Seljalandsfoss, stand in the spray of Skógafoss, watch the waves at Reynisfjara and reach Jökulsárlón, where icebergs break off the glacier and float out to the ocean.
Travelling in a small group with a local guide means you get the best light at each stop, and in winter a good chance of the northern lights over Vík.
Highlights
- Walk behind the curtain of Seljalandsfoss
- Black sand and basalt columns at Reynisfjara
- Icebergs on Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach

Will we see the northern lights?
From September to April there’s a good chance on a clear night. It’s never guaranteed, but your guide watches the forecast and wakes you if they appear.
